Miss Malaysia India Care Association (MMICARE)

The MMICARE Association is 13 years old and has been quietly working on peer to peer empowerment programmes. We have not been in the front line but our involvement with girls in schools and colleges is significant. The association takes an unconventional approach to social and community development. It looks beyond the scope and structure of traditional dissemination process of reaching out to the community and society at large. While our programmes have the Indian women at heart we have never ignored our peers in other communities. Our projects have always been broad based and cuts across all communities.
