Malaysian Red Crescent

The Malaysian Red Crescent-Selangor branch is dedicated to the alleviation of human sufferings regardless of race and religion. Its humanitarian activities and assistance are broad in crisis and non-crisis situations. Apart from responding to disaster situations at the local and international level it also carries out sustainable health-development, educates communities to be disaster prepared and resilient and provides first aid training and ambulance services. Being one of the 15 branches of the Malaysian Red Crescent Society which is enacted under an Act of Parliament (Acts 540 and 162) as a non-profit humanitarian organisation, the Red Crescent-Selangor branch now has 14 Chapters in Selangor.
