Second Chance Animal Society

Second Chance Animal Society (SCAS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to animal welfare. SCAS started as PAWS Mission in 2009 with a litter of puppies before purchasing a land in Hulu Langat to house more than 400 dogs by 2016. Despite limited resources, SCAS opened its doors in 2017 to a flailing neighbouring shelter where animals were starving and neglected bringing its paw residents number to 500 and counting.

Comprising of a small group of dedicated volunteers, SCAS turns no animals away - rescuing, treating, rehabilitating, sheltering and rehoming thousands of abandoned and strays.To give these animals a second chance with a 'open admission' policy, the organization requires a monthly operational cost of at least RM40,000.00.
